Scout's Honor ❤️ Continued Education 🧑🎓
Why we are raising our prices:
We are deeply invested in the education of our employees. Working at Scout’s Honor grants employees the opportunity increase their industry knowledge through approved courses by The Dog Gurus and International Pet Boarding and Sitters Association.
They are given the opportunity to turn their job into a career by become certified Dog Trainers (CCPDT), Certified Animal Care Professionals and Managers (PACCC), Fear Free Certified, Heroes for Healthy Pets, and more.
Employees that complete certifications receive raises and tuition reimbursement if tuition was required upon completion. We are proud to say we are one of two facilities in Indiana and the only in Bloomington with PACCC certified managers. We are the only boarding, daycare, and training resort with a CPDT-KA dog trainer in Bloomington (Did we mention Kristen is a certified Fear Free Animal Trainer certified too? 😍)
Today over 20% of our staff is certified in Fear Free Pet Boarding & Day Care practices and 40% are enrolled in continued education courses through the International Pet Boarding and Sitters Association. We fully launched our continued education program in October 202 and are SO excited about how many of our employees are taking advantage of this program 👩🏫
Due to rising costs in the industry and a continued effort to be competitive with hiring, the following services will adjust in price on 1/1/2023:

Our staff has always been paid time and a half on all federal holidays.
